ÖZATA Shipyard and Maritime Montering have signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in military ship projects in Türkiye.

The agreement aims to integrate interior outfitting solutions with advanced shipbuilding capabilities on naval platforms.
During SAHA EXPO 2026 International Defense and Aviation Exhibition, Maritime Montering signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ÖZATA Shipyard to evaluate cooperation opportunities in naval and military shipbuilding projects in the Turkish market.
The MoU sets forth a shared vision to strengthen collaboration in naval platform projects, focusing on integrating Maritime Montering’s interior outfitting capabilities into ÖZATA’s advanced shipbuilding programs. The agreement reflects both parties’ commitment to combining local shipbuilding expertise with international interior outfitting experience to deliver high-performance naval solutions.
Building upon the successful track record achieved in civilian shipbuilding projects, the cooperation will be carried out by Maritime Montering’s local subsidiary in Türkiye. In this way, the Group will leverage its global expertise in maritime interior solutions while also strengthening its regional presence in Türkiye’s naval defense segment.
Maritime Montering Türkiye General Manager Murat Korkut said: “Over the years, Maritime Montering has provided high-quality interior outfitting solutions for approximately 100 military ships worldwide, and this memorandum of understanding reflects the Group’s commitment to excellence in military ship outfitting.
