Russian Defense Ministry: Warehouse and Vessel Hit in Kyiv and Odesa
The Russian Defense Ministry said that a warehouse containing unmanned aerial vehicle components and a vessel allegedly carrying military cargo were hit in the Kyiv and Odesa regions.
Russia continued its attacks on port and logistics infrastructure in Ukraine’s Odesa region. In the latest attacks, a bulk carrier at Chornomorsk Port and a logistics center near Odesa were reportedly targeted.
A warehouse in the Kyiv region was also among the targets of the attacks. It was alleged that the warehouse contained components used in the production of unmanned aerial vehicles.
Nova Poshta Logistics Center Targeted
The Nova Poshta logistics center, located approximately 6 kilometers northwest of Odesa, was also reportedly hit in the attack. The facility was allegedly used for the storage and distribution of military equipment sent to Ukraine from Europe.
The attack was said to be part of an operation targeting logistics infrastructure in the Odesa region.
Vessel Hit at Chornomorsk Port
Another target of the attack was a bulk carrier located at Chornomorsk Port. The vessel was allegedly carrying military-related cargo for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It was also reported that operations targeting port facilities and transportation infrastructure were carried out as part of the attacks in the region.
In recent times, ports, logistics centers and maritime transportation infrastructure in the Odesa region have become among the key targets in the war between Russia and Ukraine.
