In a statement, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said that Iran continues to maintain full control over the Strait of Hormuz.

It was stated that during the night, two tankers attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz via an unauthorized route in a dangerous manner, despite Iran’s warnings and under the control of the US military, were struck and stopped, while the other four tankers quickly changed course and returned to their previous location.

It was also stated that all ship and insurance company owners had been warned last night to disregard notices issued by the US Central Command (CENTCOM).

The statement said, “The IRGC Navy once again warns that the illegal interventions and notices issued by the child-killing US military against vessels in the region will not go unanswered.”
