Turkish Entrepreneur Brings the World's Superyacht Giants Together in Monaco
Global Superyacht Forum , which achieved great success in Miami, is preparing to bring together the global maritime and yachting industry in Monaco.

The Global Superyacht Forum , a global platform that brings together the world's top decision-makers in the superyacht and maritime industries, is preparing to come to Türkiye with a major Maritime & Superyacht Summit to be held in Bodrum in September 2027. The platform's founder, Turkish entrepreneur Şekip Hardal, said that one of the most meaningful stops of its global journey will take place in his home country.
Following the successful event held last April at the W South Beach Hotel in Miami Beach, the second stop will be Monaco. Şekip Hardal, who will also organize the Global Superyacht Forum in Thailand, São Paulo, Cartagena, Mexico (Los Cabos), Panama, the Dominican Republic, and El Salvador, said:
"The next stop of our event, where we bring together superyacht owners from around the world, representatives of globally renowned superyacht companies, and the industry's leading thought leaders, will be Monaco. As we prepare to showcase my country's unique geography, opportunities, and level of development to the world, we also aim to shape the future of the industry through the GSYF events we continue to organize worldwide."
Goal: Positioning Türkiye at the Center of the Global Maritime Ecosystem
Stating that the summit is designed as a closed-door, high-level platform focusing on investment, legal frameworks, and capital mobility rather than a traditional boat show, Hardal said:
"We expect the summit to make significant contributions by attracting foreign direct investment to both our country and our partner brands, promoting high-income tourism, and creating qualified employment opportunities in yacht engineering and marina services. Monaco is one of the world's leading hubs, bringing together the largest superyacht owners, investors, brokers, management companies, and designers. We aim to bring the experience we have gained there to our country in September 2027."
