Registrations Open for the 7th TYBA Yacht Charter Show
Marmaris, Turkey – TYBA, in cooperation with ED Fuarcılık, has officially opened registrations for the 7th TYBA Yacht Charter Show, taking place 7–11 May 2026 at Marmaris Muttas Marina.
This prestigious event will bring together international charter brokers, yacht owners, and industry professionals in Marmaris—one of the Mediterranean’s most important yachting hubs—to explore Turkey’s carefully selected commercial yacht fleet and connect with the global charter community.
A Legacy Approaching Half a Century
TYBA President H. Serhan Cengiz emphasized that the event celebrates Marmaris’ 47-year-long tradition of yacht charter shows. The region’s first charter show was initiated in 1979 by Jim and Jill Anderson, who lived in Marmaris at the time and pioneered the idea of organizing such an event. The Anderson family, whose children grew up in Marmaris, established deep ties with the local maritime community—a legacy that TYBA continues to honor today.
Except for a two-year pause due to the pandemic, this tradition has continued almost uninterrupted for nearly fifty years. With this deep-rooted history, Turkey’s charter show tradition is recognized as the world’s second-oldest ongoing event (the first being the Antigua Charter Yacht Show). As a tribute to this heritage, TYBA has invited Kateryna Anderson, representing the Anderson family, as the guest of honor at the 7th TYBA Yacht Charter Show, returning to the very place where the first show began.

Held under the shadow of the historic Marmaris Castle, the event will showcase the finest commercial charter yachts representing Turkish yachting. The show offers brokers an ideal platform to inspect yachts, meet crews, and strengthen professional ties within the international charter market.
