Iran Seizes Two Vessels Carrying Smuggled Fuel in the Persian Gulf
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy announced that two vessels carrying more than one million liters of smuggled fuel in the Persian Gulf have been seized, and 15 foreign crew members were detained.

Speaking on the matter, IRGC Navy Second District Commander Heydar Honaryan Mojarred stated: “Two vessels engaged in fuel smuggling near Farsi Island were seized. More than one million liters of smuggled fuel were confiscated, and 15 foreign crew members on board were taken into custody.”
Mojarred added that the seized fuel was handed over to the Petroleum Products Distribution Company to be reintegrated into the legal distribution cycle, while the detained crew members were referred to judicial authorities for legal proceedings.
