YAF GROUP & Milestone’s Contribution to the Next-Generation Chemical Tanker Project
YAF GROUP’s Milestone International Shipbuilding supports the 3+1 unit 7,300 DWT chemical tanker project between Stella Tanker Shipping Co. and Zhejiang Yongxin Shipping with technical cooperation, consultancy, and supervision.
Within the framework of the agreement signed between Stella Tanker Shipping Co. and China’s Zhejiang Yongxin Shipping for 3+1 units of 7,300 DWT chemical tankers, Milestone International Shipbuilding Development Co. Ltd., operating under YAF GROUP, is contributing to the newbuilding process with technical cooperation, consultancy, and supervision services.
As of January 24, 2026, with the signing of the contract for the fourth vessel, the project has reached a significant milestone in line with fleet investments focused on safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
Commenting on the agreement, YAF GROUP Founder Mr. Yusuf Kanıcı stated:
“This contract clearly demonstrates Stella Tanker Shipping Co.’s long-term fleet vision. At Milestone International Shipbuilding, we are pleased to contribute to the process with our technical expertise and international field team, ensuring the highest standards.”
The project is being carried out by Milestone’s team of Turkish and Chinese engineers and covers the construction of next-generation chemical tankers fully compliant with IMO environmental standards.
