The Türkiye–Nigeria Shipbuilding and Maritime Digital Exhibition 2026 starts
Aiming to enhance cooperation in shipbuilding and maritime sectors between Türkiye and Nigeria, the Türkiye–Nigeria Shipbuilding and Maritime Digital Exhibition and Forum 2026 will begin on 20 July on a digital platform.

Under the Gemi İnşa Endüstrileri Kümelenmesi Project carried out with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye and coordinated by GİSBİR, the Türkiye–Nigeria Shipbuilding and Maritime Digital Exhibition and Forum 2026 aims to strengthen international cooperation in Türkiye’s shipbuilding and maritime sector.
The forum, to be held on the DAMISE Digital Platform, will begin on 20 July 2026. The event will bring together government institutions, industry representatives, financial organizations, academics, and business leaders from Türkiye and Nigeria to discuss key topics such as shipbuilding, ship repair and maintenance, maritime infrastructure, maritime investments, and skilled workforce development.
The program will include strategic panels and webinars, digital exhibition areas, international B2B business meetings, live press and media sessions, and digital product launches where companies will present their products and services in multiple languages. In addition, country-specific business development and investment opportunities will be shared with participants.
The forum will consist of four main events held on 20 July, 23 July, 30 July, and 5 August, while B2B meetings will continue between 20 July and 5 August 2026.
The organization is expected to generate new commercial opportunities between the two countries, strengthen sustainable maritime cooperation, and contribute to the development of a joint roadmap for the 2027 period. It is also anticipated to serve as an important platform for bringing Türkiye’s expertise in shipbuilding and maritime industries together with international stakeholders.
