ONE launched the new MAX service for West Africa
The new MAX service will operate on the Algeciras – Tangier – Dakar – Tema – Lekki – Abidjan – Algeciras rotation, providing direct access to international markets through ONE's Mediterranean hub network.
Ocean Network Express announced the launch of its new Mediterranean Africa Express Service, which will directly connect West Africa to global trade routes.
Designed to support growing trade volumes and increasingly complex supply chains, the service will strengthen connections between West Africa and the Far East Asia, Northern Europe, the Indian Subcontinent, North America, and Latin America via the transshipment hubs of Algeciras and Tangier.
The MAX service is being launched at a time when demand for reliable ocean transportation between West Africa and the world's leading trade markets continues to grow. Cargo owners increasingly require solutions that offer more flexible routing options and reliable transit times.
Customers using the MAX service will also benefit from easy access to ONE's global service network. This will enable more efficient cargo movements through services extending to North and South America, Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, and Asia, while also providing greater flexibility across supply chains.
The new service will commence on 7 July 2026. The latest sailing schedules for the MAX service will be available on ONE's website.
