Jumbo Offshore Completes FPSO Mooring Installation in Guyana
Jumbo Offshore has successfully completed the pre-installation of mooring lines for the Errea Wittu FPSO at the Uaru Field, operated by ExxonMobil Guyana Ltd.
The work was carried out on behalf of Modec and included the installation of suction anchors and the pre-lay of mooring lines in preparation for the FPSO hook-up.
The company provided installation engineering, procurement, mobilisation, and logistics support for the offshore campaign. Operations were executed with Jumbo Offshore’s J-class installation vessel Fairplayer, in full compliance with project requirements and international safety standards.
Jumbo Offshore Project Manager Freek Muurling commented on the achievement:

The Uaru Field, located 200 kilometres offshore Guyana at a depth of 1,750 metres, is estimated to hold more than 800 million barrels of oil.
Once operational, the Errea Wittu FPSO will have a production capacity of 250,000 barrels of oil per day, a gas treatment capacity of 540 million cubic feet per day, a water injection capacity of 350,000 barrels per day, and storage capacity for two million barrels of crude oil.
