Global Ports Holding Begins Operations in Seville
GPH, with its new port in Seville, is further expanding its global network and strengthening its leadership in cruise tourism.

The Seville Cruise Port welcomed its first ship, marking the opening of the season. GPH plans to host 90 cruise ships at the port throughout the year and, together with its partner Ocean Platform Marinas, intends to invest more than €5 million to improve infrastructure.
The Seville Cruise Port will be operated for 25 years in partnership with Ocean Platform Marinas (OPM). This long-term collaboration aims to position Seville as a leading cruise and mega-yacht destination, aligned with its global cultural identity, based on a sustainable and high-value tourism model
First Ship Welcomed, New General Manager Announced
With the takeover of operations, the season officially opened. The 180-meter-long Azamara Journey, which has launched Seville’s cruise season for the past four years, made the first call again this year. Onboard were 670 passengers, mostly from the United States and Canada, along with 400 crew members. Passengers will enjoy an extended two-night stay in the heart of Seville.
GPH plans to host 90 cruise ships at the port this year, including four making their first-ever calls to the city. Meanwhile, Beatrice Rasmini has been appointed as the new General Manager of Seville Cruise Port. With extensive industry experience, Rasmini will oversee daily operations and the strategic implementation of the investment plan.
Aiming to Become One of Europe’s Iconic Destinations

Special Services for Mega-Yachts
GPH and OPM plan to invest more than €5 million during the concession period to develop a dedicated terminal and services for cruise ships and mega-yachts. The investment program, set to be completed within five years, includes improvements to berthing areas, enhanced passenger traffic facilities, specialized support services for large yachts, and technical facilities for wintering and above-water repairs.
