UZMAR Delivers Hybrid Tugboat to Norway
One of the leading names in Turkish shipbuilding, UZMAR has successfully delivered the RAmpage 4100BB-H class hybrid offshore tugboat “BUBE POWER” to Norwegian company Buksér og Berging AS
The vessel was handed over during a ceremony held at UZMAR Shipyard, marking a significant milestone in environmentally conscious maritime engineering.
Defining Hybrid Power: RAmpage 4100BB-H
Designed by Robert Allan Ltd. and built by UZMAR, the RAmpage 4100BB-H stands out with its 41.2-meter length and 14.5-meter beam, offering high performance for offshore and harbor operations. Equipped with 2 x 2800 kW main engines and 2 x 900 ekW electric shaft generators, the tug delivers a powerful 120-ton bollard pull, making it ideal for heavy-duty missions.
The vessel features an advanced winch system supplied by Kongsberg Maritime AS, while Berg Propulsion is responsible for the complete propulsion and automation systems. These systems are designed in compliance with COMF-NOISE 3 and COMF-VIB 3 comfort classifications, ensuring a quieter, more stable, and ergonomic working environment for the 10-person crew.
Digitized Bridge and Integrated Control
The bridge is fully operable from operator chairs, offering superior ergonomics and precise maneuverability. The Integrated Bridge System, developed by Marine Technologies, LLC, includes four distinct control stations, allowing the crew to manage winch operations, propulsion, and navigation entirely through digital interfaces.
