A 3-Year LNG Agreement Signed Between BOTAŞ and BP

Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar attended Gastech 2025, one of the world’s leading energy forums, held in Milan. During the margins of Gastech, Minister Bayraktar announced that a three-year LNG purchase agreement was signed between BOTAŞ and BP. In his statement, Bayraktar said: “Under the agreement, approximately 1.6 billion m³ of LNG will be delivered to our country annually, totaling 4.8 billion m³. This cooperation is particularly important for ensuring supply security during the winter months, increasing source diversity, and strengthening commercial flexibility. I wish this agreement to be beneficial for both companies and our country.”
