50.5-Meter Sailing Yacht Built Over 7 Years Launched in Bodrum
In Turkey’s Bodrum district, the 50.5-meter sailing yacht named “Oğuz Khan”, which took seven years to build, was launched with a ceremony.

The event was held at Oğuz Shipyard in İçmeler, attended by representatives from the maritime sector, company officials, and shipyard employees. The yacht, which is intended for blue cruise chartering, was officially introduced to the sea.
Company owner Emre Oğuz told reporters that the yacht was completed using entirely their own capital. He emphasized that the vessel holds a certificate allowing it to carry passengers across all oceans.
“The yacht is equipped with many features and systems. Every cabin offers a sea view while lying down. The masts are made of aluminum, and the sail system covers 1,000 square meters,” said Oğuz. “We plan to send the yacht to a boat show in the Caribbean this winter, and participate in all major European exhibitions at the start of the season.”
The yacht is reportedly valued at over 20 million euros.
