GN Group and Azerbaijan Maritime Academy Reached Agreement
GN Group Corporation is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Azerbaijan State Maritime Academy , establishing a strategic framework for long-term cooperation between maritime education and the shipping industry.

The MoU was signed by ASMA Acting Rector Mr. Eldar Gojayev and GN Group Deputy General Manager Captain Ali Aliyev.
Strategic Objectives
Through this partnership, GN Group Corporation aims to:
• Support the development of qualified maritime talent by preparing future officers, engineers, and maritime specialists through structured onboard and shore-based training within GN Group’s operational environment.

• Align academic programs with international maritime conventions and industry regulations by engaging experienced professionals and international experts, thereby promoting global standards and best practices.

• Enhance institutional ties between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in maritime education and vocational training, fostering regional and bilateral cooperation.
Scope of Cooperation
Within the framework of the MoU, the parties plan to:
• Organize onboard and industrial training programs on GN Group vessels and facilities.
• Hold joint seminars, conferences, and masterclasses.
• Establish winter and summer schools.
• Involve internationally recognized experts in training activities.
• Support graduate employment and career integration.
