Poseidon Marine Celebrates 10th Anniversary with the Maritime Industry

Poseidon Marine celebrated its 10th anniversary with a special event held at Adile Sultan Palace, one of Istanbul’s most iconic venues. The celebration brought together a large number of prominent figures from across the maritime industry, including shipowners, brokers, insurance professionals and representatives of the shipbuilding sector.

Held on 18 September 2026, the well-attended event saw Poseidon Marine’s founding partners, Volkan Altan, Semih Şimşek and Celal Akyıldız, take to the stage to welcome their guests.

Speaking on behalf of the founding partners, they recalled that the company had been established by three partners a decade ago and emphasised the significant role the maritime industry’s support had played in the company’s journey to the present day.

“The majority of the people here tonight are those who have helped us reach this point and supported us throughout our journey. On our 10th anniversary, we wanted to organise this special evening to express our gratitude to them,” they said.

Thanking the guests for joining the celebration, the founding partners added: “We have completed our first 10 years. Here’s to many more decades together. We love you all—enjoy the evening.”

Set against the spectacular backdrop of the Bosphorus, the evening’s entertainment programme began with a performance by Ferihan Atik. Popular Turkish singer İrem Derici then took to the stage, entertaining guests with her well-known songs and energetic performance.

Bringing the maritime community together under one roof, the event concluded with a vibrant celebration befitting Poseidon Marine’s successful 10-year journey.
