We supply JIS Norm valve from Turkey to Europe

GNG Valve Founder Necmettin Gezginci, who started his career at a young age as a salesperson in a small shop in Tuzla, has 32 years of experience. “We are the first and only company in Turkey that produces the whole variety of Japanese Norm from A to Z. Currently, there are many importers in the Tuzla market, but all of those products come from China. As a result of the knowledge and experience I have gained over the years, GNG Valve manufactures Japanese Norm valves in Turkey and offers them to a market where 99.9 percent of the buyers are foreigners," said Gezginci, adding that their goal is to be a leader in the global market and to be a manufacturer that dominates the European market.

GNG Valve Founder Necmettin Gezginci, who started his career in 1989 as a salesperson in a shop selling products such as pipes, valves, and flanges, opens up to the world with the production and sales facilities he established in Tuzla with 32 years of industry experience. Gezginci, who has participated in many fairs organized around the world and, in his own words, "there is no country he has not visited in Europe", says: “I have visited abroad a lot. I went to Russia and neighboring countries. There is no country in Europe that I have not been to. I visited all the salesmen, manufacturers, and factories there. I examined their profession, namely the valve business, how they did it, and their offices and warehouses. If they are producing, I tried to see their production. Instead of trying to rediscover it, I aimed to move forward by learning how companies at the top of the industry do this job. I did modeling in Turkey with all that I learned.

We started with valve production

Saying that he started to manufacture valves very quickly in his newly established company, Gezginci said, “I gathered well-known and experienced people in the sector under GNG Valve. I work with 11 sales engineers who are experts in their work. We built our showroom in Tuzla with a very good staff. We have established our workshop in Tuzla İstim industrial site and for now, we are carrying out storage, workshop, assembly and testing operations in a closed area of 1000 square meters.

We aim for a turnover of 3 million Euros in 2022

Expressing his plans for the coming periods, Gezginci said, “We are recruiting personnel for this year. We hired highly experienced personnel who had worked in large companies before. They will join our team in order in June, July, and August. Our goal is to make a turnover of 3 million Euros by the end of the year. We have a turnover target of 15 million Euros for 2023. We also conducted a feasibility study regarding this: Which regions will we sell to, in the country or abroad? Based on our previous experiences, we decided which products we would produce and which ones we would not. We try to prefer products with a little more added value. We established our company in January 2022. Our goal is to create a world-class brand. We will participate in four international fairs within a year.”

We produce in Turkey

Talking about the product range, Gezginci said, “We started production with the JIS Norm, which we call the Japanese Norm, that is, the Japanese Industry Standard. Because this was a huge deficiency in Turkey. There was no producer in Turkey. It is completely imported from China and South Korea. We started here with the motto ‘Let our workers, our country, our industry win’. This production will probably be completely finished in the last months of 2022. This year we will finish the Japanese norm. As of the end of the year, we will start to produce DIN norm valves. Such as butterfly valves, globe valves, and metal bellows valves sold on newly built ships in Turkey… Even after we finish it, we want to produce bronze for military ships. At the moment, we want to produce valves mainly for ships and industry.”
