The 30th Anniversary of Gimas greets 30th SMM
Gimas Ship Supply & Services has been launched in Istanbul in 1992. As a ship supply company, it is operating in three different countries now. Here is the story of this journey.
From 1992 to 2022 the maritime industry has changed at many topics on the basis of digitalism, sustainability as well as globalism. During this process, Gimas has been a part of this big journey by collaborating with sector players for 30 years of its business life. Beyond the expectations from a supplier that it has already overtaken, making an effort to enhance global trade is its first goal when attributes what it does.
Gimas had started to provide them with the newest products to be able to meet standards throughout their service when shipowners realized that their business model is just as dependent on the renewing maritime developments as all others.
Being willing to improve its relationship with shipowners by supporting their current expectations, is not only a business moral for Gimas but also it is the most crucial guideline that highlights Gimas’s to-do list. Gimas’s to-do list that is based on shipowners’ vision makes Gimas an irreplaceable onboard assistant.
Zihni Memisoglu, CEO of Gimas, explains this principle “In the heart of our philosophy lies the desire to provide our customers with exceptional value, customer service, and quality.” As the driven mentor of this success, Mr. Memisoglu’s thoughts bring us to an obvious point: “No success is a coincidence.” Collect know-how, years, and years of customer visits all around the world have given him inherent insight regarding the route of the shipping sector.
Meeting friends at SMM after a long time, maritime industry professionals from all parts of the world will get a complete overview of innovations from all sectors, and of course, they will finally enjoy again the opportunity for live encounters on the exhibition ground.
From 6 to 9 September 2022, Gimas stand will be also, by all means, open again for its partners and maritime professionals of the maritime world to provide solidarity during pandemic challenges.
