Mete Türkay Karakullukçu, Founder of Mobile Shipyard, describes their work as problem solving and says, "The most important thing we have learned throughout our working life is that the ship must continue its voyage no matter what. Mete Türkay Karakullukçu, Partner of Mobile Shipyard, explained the development of his company since its establishment, the services it offers and the regions it serves: "First of all, as a management team, we are a company established by people who have worked in ships, shipyards and shipowner companies for many years. As a result of our long years of experience, Mobile Shipyard is a company established in 2023. In general, our company, which operates under the motto of wherever the ships are needed, is ready to offer the required solution in the fastest way in line with the needs of the shipowner with its riding squads. We actually consider our job as solving problems in general. After all, the most important thing we have learned throughout our working life is that the ship must continue its voyage no matter what. The aim is to avoid wasting time

Speaking about the advantages they provide to their customers, Karakullukçu said: "Ships are very valuable assets and they really need to be managed very professionally, by expert teams. First of all, our main goal is to prevent the loss of time during the repair of the ship as much as possible. For example, when a ship enters the shipyard for BWTS, it cannot easily leave before 1 month and they see very significant final figures in their invoices. So far, we have completed the turnkey installation of BWTS of different brands and models, including electrical equipment, on 18 ships on the water at much more affordable prices compared to shipyard prices. For example, we have performed the steel replacement work in many cranes or other different areas by providing the ship with the required safety equipment, scaffolding material and/or other materials to the ship and completed the repair during the cruise. In essence, our goal is to save the shipowner from high repair costs by completing all the works during the sailing or in the anchorage area if the waiting time of the ship at anchor is sufficient except for the works that the ship must definitely enter the drydock. As a result of our services, the most important gain of our business partners is saving time and money.  In addition, of course, it is excellent that we are always in competition with ourselves to provide the best quality service with our competent employees and reasonable prices."
